Dear HTEC Classified Members,
After months of negotiations, your HTEC Classified Bargaining Team and High Tech High reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) on a successor classified contract.
A tentative agreement is the result of the bargaining process when both parties agree on a complete package of contract language and economic provisions. While the bargaining teams have reached agreement at the table, the contract does not take effect until it is ratified by HTEC Classified members.
Beginning June 30th, HTEC classified members are able to review the Tentative Agreement and cast their ratification vote through the email sent to their work emails each day this week. The ballot will remain open through Friday July 3rd at 5:00 p.m.
Before voting, we encourage you to review the summary materials above and the full Tentative Agreement so you understand the proposed changes to wages, benefits, leaves, working conditions, and other contract provisions. We feel this is a strong agreement and will better the working conditions of our Classified Staff, but we can only move forward with the full approval of our unit, so please weigh in and vote!!! If you have questions, feel free to reach out to your bargaining team or HTEC leadership.
